The Barnsley 'Celebration of Achievement Awards' is an annual celebration which promotes
excellence and celebrates achievement within Barnsley.
The Awards Ceremony aims to recognise, reward and promote success and achievement for all Barnsley's
pupils, staff, governors and adults working within schools, children's centres and care homes.
The 2008 Awards Ceremony will take place in the following format:
Children Awards Ceremony for children up to the end of primary age
Wednesday 22nd October 2008 1:30 – 3:30pm
Young Adult Awards Ceremony for young adults aged between 11 -16
Thursday 23rd October 2008 1:30 – 3:30pm
Adult Awards Ceremony and Black Tie Gala Dinner
Thursday 23rd October 2007 6:15 – 8:15pm
Followed by Black Tie Gala Dinner - 8:15pm - 1:00am
The Celebration of Achievement Awards will take place at The Kingstone School, Broadway, Barnsley
where a plethora of entertainment, award presentations and roll of honour will occur.
