Welcome.
In January this year the European Union introduced its new Lifelong Learning programme which replaces the Socrates programme. However the new programme is more of a re-order than a revolutionary change. Schools and Colleges will still apply for Comenius funding for their partnership work, training and for teaching assistants.
This site is for schools in Barnsley to be able to contribute to discussions, share ideas, comment and get help on EU Lifelong Learning Funding opportunities. You will find assisance and support on making applications for funding, finding partners, co-ordinating projects and organising visits. Since we're here, this site will also cover broader International work.
Suggestions and comments on what is on the site will be welcomed.
New users
If you would like to Join the discusion group simply click the "Join" link in the top right of the screen and follow the instructions. Your request will then be sent to your administrator who will activate your account. Once activated you will be able to contribute to any of the Forums you have access to.
