NABit - Northern Authorities Benchmarking in IT Group
Navigation

What is NABit?

Fifteen public sector organizations who are working together to develop benchmarking processes within their ICT functions. The group has developed a formal set of objectives

Why?

The Best Value regime requires Authorities to compare their performance with that of other organizations. It takes a lot of time and effort, and a benchmarking group allows its members to pool resources and share ideas

How does it work?

The group meets on a bi-monthly basis, for debate and discussion, and is developing the use of this bulletin board to encourage a more continuous exchange of views and information.

Who are the members?

There are 14 local authorities, of varying size and type, and one Passenger Transport Executive. Members are drawn from the North East of England area. Click here to see who they are.
