SOUTH YORKSHIRE STRATEGIC ECONOMIC ASSESSMENT – CONSULTATION

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS FRIDAY 11 AUGUST 2006 AT 5.00 PM

We would like to offer you the opportunity to comment on the current draft of the South Yorkshire Economic Assessment. Presentations of the SEA content were made at an open event in July which was attended by almost 70 people, and to the South Yorkshire Partnership Board on the 20th July. Suggestions and comments have been made – but we would welcome more input.

The deadline date for comments is Friday 11 August at 5.00 pm, although we would welcome your views as early as possible.

Background:

The South Yorkshire Strategic Economic Assessment is a comprehensive evidence base that assesses the health of the sub-regional economy over the last 10 years, and looks at forward projections over the next 10 years where possible. The document will provide partners in South Yorkshire with a ‘story’ of the sub-region, and can help inform future investment decisions that will contribute towards sustainable economic growth.
