What's New Yorkshire Foward's proposals for the Investment

recently attended an EU Reception in Brussels where the opportunity was taken by the Chair
of the Partnership, Linda McAvan and Director, Graham Joyce to present EC
Members and officials with a lobbying document arguing the case for
South Yorkshire to continue to receive support via the EU Structural
Funds after 2006. EU Cohesion Policy - The Partnership has recently updated its position statement relating to EU Cohesion Policy. recent consultation. The Assembly for Yorkshire & the Humber Has Recently Produced An
Issues Paper On Developing A Regional Spatial Strategy Upon Which
Comments Are Invited From Various Stake Holders. The South Yorkshire Partnership has produced the Sub Region's Position Statement on EU Cohesion Policy After 2006.

The Yorkshire and Humber Assembly is consulting on a proposed common strategic framework for the whole of the Yorkshire and Humber Region.
